Form-fitting pencil skirt from the waist to the hips.

The figure-flattering skirt backing is made of stretchy Polyester Jersey Knit fabric that has darts.

The skirt is slightly above the Knee Roll 104 cm (41 inches).

Medium 3-step hook tape looms wrapped around the skirt to give you an additional cushion to adjust the waist (Black).

History

Reversible Sequin (Sequence) is made of small ornamental discs.

In 1922 archaeologists discovered King Tutankhamun's (Tut) tomb in Egypt. They found his garments covered in gold sequin-like disks.

Sewing these discs, consequently, made of gold or precious metals onto clothing signified higher social status. 

Jersey Single Knit made of Polyester.

French designer Gabrielle Bonheur "Coco" Chanel introduced knit fabric to the women’s fashion industry in 1916.

It is a great fabric choice due to its multi-functional textile qualities.

Surface

Reversible Sequin is an ultra-modern, stylish, and glossy fabric that has two colors in one fabric.

Brushing hands in different directions dynamically change its color.

Jersey Knit has a soft, smooth, and knitted texture.

Less shiny and heavier than viscose or silk jersey, these fabrics have a much smoother drape than Jersey Knit.  

Hold

Reversible Sequin stitched flat to the backing fabric and is less likely to fall off.

Polyester Jersey is a very absorbent and naturally breathable fabric. It blends well with other clothing fabrics.

Crease

Reversible Sequin is completely crease-free. 

Jersey Knit has creases after a wash, can easily be ironed out.

Transparency

Reversible Sequin has a natural reflective ability. The fabric dangles and moves easily to catch more light.

Jersey Knit has moisture moisture-wicking abilities, the fabric doesn’t hold water. 

Drape

5mm Reversible Sequin gives the fabric more flow and drape than glued or fish-scale sequin fabric.

Jersey Knit is well structured with a nice drape due to its fiber composition.

Stretch

Reversible sequin is not stretchable. Easy to make different shapes and patterns. 

Jersey Knit is a stretchable fabric providing comfort for the wearer. Perfect for clothing that requires movement.

Production

Ornamental sequin discs are covered with metallic foil sewn on the cloth.

The knitted composition brings the fibers closer together, making Jersey Knit a non-transparent fabric. 

The production is biodegradable, involves sustainable practices, consequently, is environmentally friendly.

Dry Cleaning

Dry cleaning is recommended. 

Consequently, it’s the best way to go to maintain the longevity of the skirt.

Stain Wash

In case of spills on the skirt, clean with a towel without putting much pressure on the spot.

Dry cleaning may require removing greasy stains. 

Sun Exposure

Avoid direct sunlight to avoid the deformation of sequins.

Ironing

Do not iron or steam the skirt.  

Ironing the skirt may damage the sequins as it can cause the sequins to warp or get cup-shaped.

Folding

Avoid folding the skirt.

Hang the skirt in a well-ventilated area after wearing it. 

Folds, creases, and wrinkles, conversely, flatten the pile and are difficult to remove.

The objective is to contribute less to environmental waste and avoid the hassle of returning and waiting periods, particularly during the pandemic.

Buttons & Needles offer free shipping within the European Union. 

Due to COVID 19, we reserve the right to vary shipping methods to certain destinations.

Customs, Import Duties, Taxes

Buttons & Needles are not responsible for custom or import duties or any other charges related to it. 

If items are ordered internationally from outside the European Union, customs or import duties, and taxes may be incurred once your items reach their destination.

These charges vary from country to country and must be paid by you. Therefore, we advised you to get in touch with your local customs authorities for further details on costs and procedures.

Furthermore, ordered items may be inspected on arrival at port for customs purposes. Thus, we cannot guarantee that the packaging of your ordered items will be free of signs of tampering.

How does the dress fits compare with other fashion brands? 

We optimized our sizes to better fit your body size and measurements. For example, if your size is XXL, you can order XL from us.
