Fabric belt, made from the backside of the fabric (Black), attached with a clip.

Pockets

Invisible vertical pocket bags are attached to the seam allowances on both sides.

Extra room to hide your essentials. Nevertheless, who doesn’t love a dress with pockets?

 

Hemline

A-Line Hemline, below the knee roll (length 104 cm - 41 inches).

For comfortable wear, Silk fabric is used for the interlining.

The interlining is good for skin, as well as gives you a semi-sheer look and a matt soft touch.

Buttons

4 fancy metal buttons (White Golden, Size 28L).

3 for the dress and 1 extra button come with the pouch for later use.

Belt Buckle

Sturdy antique brass buckle clip (Bronze).  

Zip

Premium quality matching invisible zip with net tape (Maroon).

Elastic Waistband

Medium elastic tape looms elastic on the back of the dress waistline to support the belt (Black).

Fabric

History

Velvet fabric was originally made of silk.

The fabric has always been a luxury fabric ornament to a king, only accessible by the royal and noble class. 

Velvet was originally produced in East Asia from the 14th century and eventually, production spread to the Mediterranean countries and then distributed throughout Europe.

Surface

Suede Velvet piles give a soft, plush, and high-end feel. Durable, if properly maintained.

The fabric has a shiny surface on the front side and a dull surface on the backside. 

Hold

Suede Velvet has medium heat retention and moisture absorption abilities. 

Crease

Suede Velvet is fairy crease-free due to the toughness of the fabric.

The fabric is very durable when compared to Georgette, Shamoz, Silk, and Satin. 

Transparency

Suede Velvet is a soft, smooth, and multi-layered fabric with dense piles.

The fabric epitomizes luxury, with its smooth nap and shiny appearance. 

Drape

Suede Velvet has a beautiful drape, a uniquely soft, and shiny appearance due to the characteristics of the short pile fibers.

The thin nature of Suede gives it a nice, delicate drape.

Stretch

Suede Velvet has a very low stretchability. 

The threads in the fabric are woven closely together. 

Production

Suede Velvet is a blend of two fabrics. 

Velvet is difficult to produce and sew, which makes this fabric even more desirable. 

The production of Suede Velvet is biodegradable, involves sustainable practices, consequently, environmentally-friendly.

Maintenance

Dry Cleaning

Avoid hand or machine wash. 

Dry cleaning is highly recommended for greasy stains, stubborn folds, and crushed piles.

The dress can look dirty easily and harm its smooth appearance.

The fabric tends to collect dust and dirt.

Professional dry cleaners have special tools that can lift the velvet pile accordingly. 
 

Stain Wash

In the case of spills, do not apply pressure on the spot.

It will press the pile down and ruin the fabric. 

Shake off as access moisture as possible or dab with a towel without putting too much pressure. Let it air dry.

Air Drying

Avoid drying it in the dryer. 

Use a flat surface to dry on a clean towel. 

Do not hang or wring, as the dress can lose shape easily.

Ironing

Use a steamer or a velvet board to remove mild creases and wrinkles.

Do not use iron, ironing will burn the fabric. 

The heat and weight of the iron leave an imprint. 

Folding

Hang the dress in a well-ventilated area after wearing it. 

Avoid folding the dress.

Folds, creases, and wrinkles, conversely, flatten the pile and are difficult to remove.
